Akashic Consultations
Start with One Question
All you need is one question to start---a question about something important in your life right now. Other questions will follow naturally. What to Expect in Your Akashic Reading A reading is interactive, like having a conversation. Once we enter your records, when you ask a question, the response forms as energy. The reader's job is to perceive and decode the energy as it arises in response to your question and to translate it into words. And yes, you can learn to read your own records!! But even those of us who read our own records sometimes need another's perspective. It can be hard, by definition, to see one's own blind spots! An akashic reading is not a psychic reading in that it is not predictive; you create your future. An akashic reading is not "fortune telling," nor is it a mediumistic reading, as we will be in your records at a high level of consciousness.

No Fear! There is absolutely nothing to fear in a reading done from the higher perspective of the akasha. It is a level of objectivity, fact, and impartiality. You will not be judged or criticized. Rather, the causes and conditions of your concerns will become clear, as well as what you are learning and how to apply your knowledge to advantage in practical terms in your life today.
"Past life" material may or may not be elicited; this depends on whether it would be helpful or not. Also, what the term "past life" means varies with perspective (lives are lived concurrently in simultaneous time, for example). Every reading is individual content cannot be predicted beforehand. I have no idea what information will present itself until it does. I do know that it will be timely, useful, encouraging, and surprising or confirming. Brief Bio of Linda ReneauBefore graduating from Linda Howe's live, online certification course and using her system for six years, since 2012, I had given many hundreds of readings over the years using other systems. I especially liked the Animal Medicine Cards and the Norse runes. See my book on the latter in the FREE section! You can also find a paperback version of it on Amazon: Runes of the Knowing Heart.
My spiritual journey began officially in 1969 in New Orleans at the age of 21 where I began my study of the Yoga Sutras of Pantanjali and the practice of Raja Yoga with Sri Nivananda Deva. From there I went to the zen Buddhist monastery at Mt. Shasta, California, to study with Kennett Roshi. Later, in Tucson, I studied graphology with Beryl Hamilton for two years. We had a great group and met every week. Not officially a spiritual discipline, but I feel she was a spiritual teacher to me. In Alaska, I sat with the Silent Quakers 1975--1985. In the late 1980s I took and taught the Awakening Your Light Body courses by Sayana Roman and Duane Packer of LuminEssence. This was a great leap forward in many areas. The courses are fantastic beyond description. I am also very fond of Reggie Ray's courses on Mahamudra Vajrayana Dzochen meditation and Sally Kempton's Doorways to the Infinite (available from SoundsTrue). Linda Howe's system of reading the akasha is the super best to me. Her approach is focused and clear, with a simplicity that gives it power and practicality in every situation. It is well organized and uncluttered. It contains new, contemporary material. It is a system for our time, without weirdness. There is nothing vague or airy about it. She sticks to the subject and makes every word count. She doesn't wander all over the universe with abstract pronouncements or include other topics best studied in depth in their own right (such as the chakra system, energy fields, astrology, starseeds, or numerology---if you have knowledge in these areas, great! But if you want to learn how to read the akasha, wouldn't you want a book dedicated to that subject without dilution or distraction?). Even though I spend much time in the akasha in my own records, exploring many topics, periodically I ask a colleague to do a reading for me. It can help to have someone else look at my records because I have blind spots and emotional issues I can't always see around. Since learning and growing are ongoing forever, as far as I know, I will always need help from time to time. We are always a student and always a teacher. There is always someone a step behind us and someone a step in front of us. And the positions can change, because we all have knowledge in different areas. My main goal is to encourage everyone in these times to cultivate their connection to their inner guidance, to knowledge within them. It will become increasingly important to be able to access our greater intuitive mind to navigate the times ahead. Also, having a clear inner connection to one's own higher nature means having a clear inner connections to others, creation, and Source. Otherwise, career-wise, I have been a nurse, EMT, firefigher, flutemaker, and editor of magazines, manuals, books, articles, and reports. |
Common Questions Answered
"Soul," as defined in this system, refers to your original self, the part of you that emerged from source with a unique, eternal pattern. This part of you stays the same forever. You, as a body-mind with a personality, are an expression of your soul, created for the purpose of evolving your uniqueness and sharing your compassion and wisdom in the world. While your essential pattern (soul) stays the same, there are literally infinite ways in which you can express your uniqueness. In other systems, "soul" may refer to your temporal, evolving, energetic self in spacetime. No need to be confused by terminology---just ask questions. The word "soul" could be defined in different ways. There is the "soul" of the blues, too, and the soul of a city. Dr. Sha, in his book Soul Communication, says everything has a soul. Even my sandals (I wonder if there is a right soul and a left soul of my soles?). Everything physical thing has an energetic level and is composed of atoms, subatomic particles, and, in essence, energy/light. In this system, your personality, character, temperament, etc. indicate how you are currently presenting, or expressing, your soul's unique pattern. Do I have to do anything or have any special knowledge? No. Just ask questions! Before your reading, take time to write down all the questions you can think of. You might also write down the answers you get from your intuition and reason to your questions so that you can compare them to the answers that come during the reading. Often people find that their own answers are not contradicted by the reading, but rather they are simply more limited in scope and depth. A reading will add to what you already know intuitively or logically as well as uncover new information. Intuition is like a small lamp compared to reading from within the akasha, which is like a big spotlight. Is this a psychic reading? Do you channel? Do you get weird? Do I have anything to be afraid of? “No” to all of these questions. Spiritual readings, also called akashic records readings, only dignify and elevate you because you are seen from the perspective of your soul and unconditional love. You are not judged, criticized, or told what to do. You have nothing to fear! You are loved, and you are worthy. You are treated with kindness and respect. What happens after the reading? You may find issues resolving more easily on their own, new perspectives that change how you feel about things and inspire you to take more appropriate actions, and new ideas and insights that make a difference. Use your notes from the reading to reanimate what you experienced in the reading. How often should I get a reading? It can take months to years to unpack and apply what you learn from one reading. Hopefully, a reading will also inspire and encourage you to take time every day to listen to your own inner guidance more attentively and deeply than ever before. If you haven't taken action on the insights gained from a reading, it does no good to get another reading on the same topic. However, if you have questions about a different topic, it is fine to request a reading. What is the soul level? “Soul level” refers to your true nature as light with a unique pattern or blueprint. The goal of a Spiritual Reading is to see your topic in the light of your soul’s awareness, from your soul’s viewpoint. Viewing your life from the perspective of your soul is empowering, liberating, and healing. An Akashic Spiritual Reading does NOT involve: channeling a guide, angel, or ascended master; communication with the deceased; foreseeing the future; getting advice or being told what to do; or obtaining private information about another person or situation. Although we do not seek information about another person in our reading, we can ask to know our role in a person’s life, or what we can do to help someone or promote their well-being. Please note that the akasha can be read at any level from the gross physical up to the finest spiritual densities. Not all akashic readers read at the spiritual level; some read from the astral planes or higher mental planes. Their information may be highly accurate, but it will have less scope, depth, and perspective than information from the soul level. Each reader reads from the highest level he or she can reach, depending on their own development. |
