Here is one of my favorite rune play activities. I pick three runes at random then quickly make up as many sentences as I can based on their meanings. See if you can spot which of the above runes correspond to which ideas in the following sentences.
Here goes:
Light shines upon the Mystery of life, out of which comes the Path and the Traveler, one and the same. Sometimes the Traveler forgets s/he is actually the Path itself, and goes looking for it, unable to see it right under the feet as well as in the soul and tissues of the body.
When the Traveler forgets to listen to her drum, she tries to dance to the tune of another’s drum. This never works, for the Rhythm, the Path, and the Traveler are all one and the same one and one in the same and cannot be teased apart. But the illusion of separateness can appear real and be experienced as real, brought about by delusion arising from deep forgetfulness; then, in amnesia, the Traveler experiences life as if alone and disconnected from the whole.
A new reality (Raido) is born (Peorth) when an insight (Kano) strikes. A seed of light planted in the matrix initiates a new journey of resonant consciousness. Within the matrix is both memory and potential and actualization in all directions.
"CPR," the letters the runes represent: Do I, or someone I know, need to be revived, revitalized, saved? Yes, I know three people who are having difficulty. One needs the passion of Kano, one needs to become accustomed to the uncertainty of Peorth, and one needs the courage to follow her Raido and not someone else’s. This having been stated by them, in their own words, without reference to the runes. Given that these people are a part of my reality, what self-knowledge do they reflect back to me?
I feel that I’m invited to walk straight into the unknown, that I will find a light at the end of the tunnel, maybe a rainbow with a pot of gold. How I want to take everyone with me, to the pot of gold! But only if they want to come, if following their Raido is parallel to mine in that regard. Not everyone wants to come.
I am becoming more focused and cutting out distractions, cultivating my attention like a laser beam to the only thing I like to do. That is, while there are many things I like to do: ride bike, paint, write, tutor Spanish and other subjects, be supportive of others, learn new things, cook, keep a tidy house---I am doing it more often from my primary perspective as a sensitive, as a person who loves working with energy, the psychic, the invisible world, remote viewing, always with one foot in the subtle realms, no matter what else I am doing. Grocery shopping, getting the car serviced, figuring a budget, meditating, sleeping, dreaming … I am always aware of what lies just on the other side of the see-touch realm. Yet I was taught at such an early age to try to not see it, to not give it value, to pretend it was not there, that even now, I have that feeling of shame when I acknowledge it. Except when I am in the company of significant others who acknowledge it. They help me feel like it is not only OK to see, but valuable.
The inner eye (Kano) peers into the Akasha (Peorth) and the self travels (Raido) to find certain specific information. Along with other participants, I just finished a two-hour online session with Lyn Buchanan and Teresa Frisch going over a remote viewing target. As far as I can tell, when we remote view, we sometimes travel, sometimes pop out at the destination, sometimes simply know, as when we directly cognate the data and it is translated by the brain nonlocally. It is very fun ... I worked three other targets this week, two with especially good results ... We are, indeed, in all times and places; to be elsewhere, all we need do is change our focus. Kano is the inner eye; Peorth is all space and time. Raido is the path one turns the eye upon and makes it her or his own.
