What are Life Energy Powers?
Ingo Swan, father of military remote viewing, calls life energy powers "biosuperpowers." They include:
powers of awareness, observation, attention, discernment (recognition of importance and significance as well as identification), understanding, cognizing (or groking, as Heinlein puts it in Stranger in a Strange Land) ...
sensitivity, empathy, love, and compassion ...
probing, projecting, directing, telepathy, and telekinesis ...
experiencing and integrating ...
remote viewing, foreseeing, intuiting, and knowing ...
and, finally, "sourcing beyond the self."
Biosuperpowers Are Normal, Natural, Practical, and Desirable; Lack Thereof is Undesirable, to say the least ....
There is abundant scientific evidence that human beings have these biosuperpowers and that they are actually supernormal, not supernatural, as scientist Dean Radin notes. If you haven't done your research, his website is a good place to start. If you have done your research, or have not blocked your natural sensitivity, you already know you are a multi-sensory being not limited to five senses.
And I think it's safe to say most people have firsthand experience with so-called "psychic phenomena," including instances of telepathy, "knowing," encounters with significant others who have passed on, and much more. For the great majority of us, we don't need to be convinced that life, the universe, and reality are all beyond extraordinary. We already know this. And we wonder why the larger culture denies it. Publicly, that is, if not privately.
The answer is multifaceted, but at its core lies fear. Why, who could possibly be afraid of the public's ability to discern the truth, to know, to obtain hidden information, to experience empathy and compassion, to connect through time and space, and to influence the expansion of group think just by being expansive in their own lives? Who could possibly be alarmed by humans becoming aware of and developing their natural biosuperpowers?
It's obvious that those who rule by secrecy and seek power over others would not want people to develop themselves and their natural abilities. But it's not so obvious that many humans fear widespread development of soul abilities simply because they, themselves, are not ready to come into their own power and consequently do not want others to do so, either. This group will denounce the psychic as either the work of the devil or unscientific nonsense, depending on their beliefs.
However, even these people could benefit from recovering, at the least, their gut survival instinct, which has been hindered by a limited scientific mindset grafted onto society that says true gut instinct can't exist because its mechanism of action cannot be described; therefore, using advanced scientific reasoning, they conclude it can't and doesn't exist, regardless of widespread human experience of it.
And that's the way it is. Ken Wilber, the great synthesizer of science, psychology, and the spiritual, estimates that most of humanity is in what he calls the "amber" stage of development. In his color scheme, amber is the "us and them" stage of growth, which is all about conflict and division, power "over" rather than power "of." People in this stage are only comfortable with others in their own group, and their group does not welcome too great a variation in ideology or psychic sensitivity.
In Wilber terms, those in the turquoise to ultraviolet stage of growth and beyond are open to expanding their awareness. Turquoise begins in the area of the heart, the empathetic, connective, "live and let live" stage of growth; blue tones incorporate will and the desire for truth above all else; and ultraviolet blooms into transrational thought, which transcends but includes reason as a subset; and "beyond" soars into the planes of the spirit, or akasha, the clear light.
Remote viewing and reading the akasha are both about
"sourcing beyond the self."
"Akasha" is Sanskrit for "primordial substance," "subtle space," "fundamental luminosity," or "pre-matter radiance." It is the medium of reality and connects every point of light and wave to every other point of light and wave.
In Raja Yoga, the akasha is noted to be present every where and every when; it is within and outside of all form, time, and space. It is formless and invisible when unconditioned by consciousness. The self uses consciousness to create thoughts and things from this "primordial matter." Form is conditioned primordial matter.
For more information on the nature of the akasha, see Consciousness, the Yoga Sutras, and Remote Viewing under the Remote Viewing tab.
Although it is popular nowadays to say "You are consciousness" or "You are energy," the raja yogi would say that no, you are not consciousness or energy. You are beyond that, at a higher level. You are outside the system. Because you, the eternal ultimate you, are beyond energy and consciousness, you can observe consciousness and energy objectively and use them as creative tools and materials.
In military style remote viewing and in akashic spiritual readings, the akasha is accessed using the tool of consciousness in accordance with specific protocols, methodologies, value systems, and frameworks of belief or assumptions.
Observation cannot occur in a vacuum, nor can it be separated from the observer. This is one thing modern mainstream science doesn't sufficiently get, even though it came up with these words itself.
Behind all "objectivity" is an observer with years of conditioning and deep assumptions about what reality is, what is possible and not possible, what is desirable and not desirable, what is valuable and what is useless. The lens is hardly transparent. However, it helps if the observer is aware of his or her conditioning and able to take it into account, see beyond it when possible, and create more open frameworks to give curiosity free rein.
But regardless of paradigm, CRV (military style "controlled remote viewing") and akashic spiritual reading have a major aim in common: to know the truth. That is where they coincide. One may be quantitative and the other qualitative, but each knows that the only end product that is valuable is the truth. Not the whole of the truth, but a true piece of the great expanding puzzle that is life, the universe, and everything.

What is "Power"?
Real power is the power OF life that illuminates your cells, senses, bones, blood, muscles, and organs.
Real power makes it possible for you to think, walk, talk, work, breathe, love, smile, eat, enjoy ...
Real power seeks to create, learn, connect, share, and express itself through you, whose desires are the same.
Feeling powerless in life leads to anxiety, depression, hopelessness, poverty, addiction, crime, wars, suffering, all sorts of unhappiness, violence to oneself or others, and all those sorts of things we call "bad."
Feeling in the flow with the power OF life leads to joy, connection, love, support, sharing, abundance, and all those sorts of things we call "good"!
Power "over" is a whole different story; it's about conditional power, power as fear, and the futility of trying to control the exterior. See Ingo's two volumes on the Secrets of Power. He tells it like it is.

First Sight, James C. Carpenter: First Sight theory proposes that, like electricity, psychic experience is actually going on all the time. Also like electricity, it is almost always out of sight in its functioning ... it is the leading edge of the unconscious processes that the mind uses to construct all its experience and all its behavior. Because it traffics with things that have not reached the physical senses, it is our first line of engagement with the world, our first outpost of information ... consciousness begins unconsciously ... beyond the limits of our sensory systems, with apprehensions that are too far away or too hidden to be sensed and apprehensions of things that have not even happened yet.
